We have a lot of treadmill running belts for sale here in our Auckland warehouse. This belt is for a Forerunner 2700 treadmill.
Our belts are here ready to be sent so no waiting from overseas websites or suppliers. And since we’re a locally owned kiwi business, we stock belts for treadmills that kiwis buy & use.
Treadmill Belt Sizes:
We have most sizes of treadmill belts, so if you don’t see a listing for your treadmill, it doesn’t mean we haven’t got the right size. We can advise if a similar size would work, and because treadmill belts are adjustable, It means you can easily fit a smaller or larger belt if we have one that will work.
In some cases, you may have to measure your treadmill belt yourself, but it’s not that hard. You will need to measure the width, length, and circumference of the belt, not just the top. Feel free to email us if you need any assistance or have any queries about your belt.
You can find all our contact information on the contact tabhere!
Treadmill belts take a lot of wear and tear and may require frequent changing, we recommend you maintain them with our treadmilllubricant. This will prolong the life of your belt. As well as your treadmill deck. This means there will be less strain on the motor and electronics.
When changing your belt over, check out ourblog for step by step instructions.

How to identify your treadmill
It’s very important that you know the make and model of your treadmill because there are hundreds of different size belts. Most treadmills have an identification sticker or plate at the front of your treadmills base, by where it plugs in. Sometimes the make and model will be on the side of the base of the machine, or on the uprights that support your console, your screen. And sometimes it’s on the motor cover or the console itself.
Treadmill belt measurement
We have most treadmill belts available. If we don’t have your treadmill listed you may have to measure it. There are 2 measurements you need and a couple of things to consider. Firstly the measurements, the circumference and the width, the belt length goes all the way around. That is why it’s called an endless belt. And secondly, your belt will stretch over time. So how much length adjustment is left in your belt if you measure it as it is? You don’t want to order a belt size if it has no adjustment left or if it is too short to fit.
So firstly the best way to measure your treadmill belt.
The best way (treadmill unplugged) to measure your treadmill belt is to mark the front of your belt by the motor cover or console end and another mark by the back of your treadmill belt. I use a white correction pen but you can use a black marker because it will still be visible for a few minutes. Ok now measure between the two marks. Secondly rotate the treadmill belt by hand until the mark at the front of the belt is at the back of the belt. Next, you mark at the front again and measure in-between. And now just rotate the front mark forward again until you see the first mark you made and measure that. Ok now just add those 3 measurement together and you will have the circumference of the belt. Then just measure the width.
And secondly, how stretched is your old treadmill belt?
Because we want to sell you a belt with a lot of adjustment left in it, you must check to see how much adjustment is left. By removing one of the end caps from your treadmill, you will expose the adjustment bolt. You need to work out how far through your adjustment bolts the rear roller axle is. If it’s in the middle of the adjustment range, then that’s a safe measurement to quote. If there’s is no adjustment left, you must measure how far back in mm you could go. Sometimes it could be 20mm or it could be 50mm. Also, quote this length. But if it’s at the beginning of the adjust range then also measure to the limit of the adjustment range and quote that in mm.
Treadmill belt lubrication
Please note all our home treadmill belts need to be lubricated every 2-3 months depending on usage. And remember that if you haven’t used your treadmill in a while, you may need to lubricate your treadmill belt as the treadmill lubricant will evaporate over time. Our pre-waxed commercial belts don’t need to be lubricated as long as you replace the treadmill deck at the same time as replacing the belt. You can lubricate with liquid wax from time to time.
We import all our belts and we store them on the North Shore & in West Auckland. Then is no pick up option so all our treadmill belts are couriered by Aramex formerly Fast ways couriers. We can have them delivered in New Zealand between 3 and 5 working days. Sorry Rural NZ is longer. The price for a belt to be delivered is $19.95 New Zealand wide or $24.95 for rural NZ delivery.
How do you clean your treadmill belt?
Keeping your treadmill clean is important. And keeping your belt clean also is important. You can use a cloth and water to clean it. Only a damp cloth though, you don’t want your electronics getting wet or your frame and other metal parts getting corroded or oxidated. Also, you can use our new treadmill clean. It’s gentle enough to clean the belt and plastics(no harsh chemical cleaners on these). And hard-working enough to clean the sweat off the frame etc and metal parts. If you’re really concerned you can spray some silicone in a rag and wipe the plastics and metal parts, but not where you walk as it would be dangerous and slippery.
The Sole is the product I sell a lot of. Contact me by phone or email if you have any questions regarding this brand.
